The Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition is the national collective voice for social enterprise in Scotland, and a strategic partner of the Scottish Government, bringing together social enterprise and its supporters into a strong force for change.
Social entrepreneurs are to be found throughout society: in business, in local communities, in government and, in particular, creating social enterprises - businesses which trade to achieve social aims. Senscot believes that social entrepreneurs and their enterprises have the potential to transform society for the better.
The Social Enterprise Academy was set up in 2004 as a responsive social business with the capacity to tailor learning and development for people working in, or towards, a leadership role in the social economy. Our approach is to encourage innovation and creativity by focusing on individual participants and their personal development as entrepreneurial leaders.
