As the Third Sector is a key provider of services to the people of South Ayrshire it is crucial that its knowledge and expertise is recognised and that the work it carries out informs the South Ayrshire Single Outcome Agreement and the Community Plan.
In 2011 VASA plan to carry out three Key Actions to progress the development of the relationship between the Third Sector and the Community Planning Partnership. The South Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership Board has endorsed these actions.
- Key Action a) - Developing a protocol that will enable an effective relationship between the Third Sector and the Community Planning Partnership
- Key Action b) - Mapping the Third Sector’s impact on the Single Outcome Agreement in relation to Local and National Outcomes
- Key Action c) - Establishing Third Sector (TS) Theme Groups, which will mirror the Community Planning Partnership (CPP) Theme Groups
